A wonderfully expressive pair of antique Staffordshire figures, each depicting a seated dog alongside a small pup. Painted in creamy white with vivid cobalt blue bases, black and orange facial details, and touches of gilding, the pair has a particularly appealing small scale and beautifully aged surface.
Old repairs and losses are present but largely recede when the figures are displayed from the front. Sold as a pair.
